If you have a B-hvye XD or the B-hyve hose faucet Timer and are unable to activate smart watering on your device, then this article is for you.
The most likely reason that you are unable to turn on smart watering is that your Timer is not connected to your home Wi-Fi. In order for our B-hyve hose Timer models to connect to Wi-Fi, there must be a B-hyve hub for them to connect to. (For the B-hvye XD models you will need our GEN 2 Hub, and for the B-hyve hose Timer model you will need our GEN 1 Hub)
Without the hub, the hose Timer will only be able to be controlled in the B-hyve App via Bluetooth.
Since the device would only be able to be controlled via Bluetooth, smart watering would not be able to activate/work as it requires both a Wi-Fi connection and a home address to get access to live weather forecast and other information that smart watering uses to create programs and add delays to programs.
