A measure of how evenly water is being applied across a field during irrigation, typically expressed as a percentage between 0 and 100. For example, if one inch of water is applied to one side of a field and only a half inch is applied to the other half, that would be described as poor Distribution Uniformity. "DU" lower than 70 percent are usually considered poor, 70 to 85 percent good, and over 85 percent, excellent.
