Polyethylene (poly pipe) is a general term for a flexible pipe made from Polyethylene. Variations include LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE, and "Utility Pipe". Popular in areas that are susceptible to freezing or ground movement. Poly Pipe is also more ecologically friendly than PVC pipe. Use Blu-lock push-to-connect fittings, insert fittings with hose clamps, or compression fittings with poly pipe.
