Yes! B-hyve Pro connected devices work best when connected to the B-hyve servers, but a connection is not required.
When connecting to a device for the first time select the option allowing you to connect over Bluetooth.
The B-hyve Pro app works in a similar fashion; however, you lose access to the WeatherSense smart programming and the ability to control from anywhere. The setup process is the same, however you are only able to create a traditional program.
Bluetooth range is dependent on local conditions, in our testing the best connections were maintained between 3 and 75 feet from the device. Bluetooth connections from 0-3 and 75-100 feet provided an acceptable connection. While connections over 100 feet, while possible, proved unreliable.
