After installing all pipes and fittings, turn the water supply on and check for leaks with the valves closed.
To manually open a valve. #
Turn the solenoid, lever, or screw counterclockwise to open the valve manually. Then close the solenoid, lever, or screw to shut the valve off.
For most valves, a 1/4 turn of the solenoid is all that is needed. DO NOT exceed more than 1/2 turn.
If the valve does not turn off, turn off the water supply, disassemble the valve and check for obstructions.
If static water pressure exceeds 80 psi (5.5 bars), you should use a pressure regulator. Excessive pressure will shorten the life of a valve and can cause leakage.
