Factory reset and Pairing Mode

NOTICE: For all B-hyve devices, putting the device in pairing mode will also Factory Reset the device.

If you already have your device programmed, then performing this step will clear any custom programming that you have locally stored on the device. Once you have repaired the device to your account your settings will automatically download from the cloud.

Factory Reset will not delete the device, your B-hyve account, or information in the B-hyve cloud.

There are several different B-hyve devices, and not all of them are put into the pairing mode the same way. This article will show you how this is done for each device.

Putting your timer in pairing mode is very important when initially pairing your device to the B-hyve app, but it can also assist when you have had any Wi-Fi or router changes and need to get your device reconnected or are having frequent disconnection issues.

Outdoor Controller Open the front door, then open the swing panel. Locate the reset button behind the LCD screen. Press and hold the reset button for 10-12 seconds (All icons will appear on screen). 
Indoor Controller Press the middle B-hyve Button 5 times rapidly
XR Controller Press the middle B-hyve Button 5 times rapidly
XD 2-station and 4-station timer  Rotate the dial to the off position, then press in on the dial and release. Now, press and hold the dial-in for about 10 seconds, or until all icons appear on the screen.
Hose Faucet Timer Press the B-hyve button 5 times rapidly
Hub Gen 1 and Gen 2 Press the B-hyve button 5 times rapidly
Flood Sensors Flip the device over and then press the yellow B-hyve Logo/Button 5 Times
