Blu-Lock Pipe UV and Weather Resistance

Blu-Lock pipe has a 3-year UV additive in it. Blu-lock pipe is not intended for exposure to UV so we recommend covering or otherwise protecting it from UV exposure.

Blu-lock pipe is designed for use with water not exceeding 73º F.

Blu-Lock pipe is Freeze/Thaw Tested. We test equal quantities of each pipe and fittings.  The test consists of 15 cycles (aka. 24 hr. Bluetherm test, -4° F to 105° F, 3 cycles repeated 5 times) on each pipe or fitting type followed by a pressure test at 120 psi for 24 hrs. The product must continue to operate, without leakage, failure or visual change. After the pressure / temperature test, the pipe or fittings shall be placed on water and function within operating pressures.
