There are a couple of steps you can take that may resolve the issue. First, please be sure that your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz band with it’s own SSID – a blended network may cause issues. Note: If you have a B-hyve XR, please disregard this step.
While reviewing the signal your router is broadcasting, please also ensure that your B-hyve device is located within 50 feet of the router, but not closer than 3 feet.
Second, try manually reconnecting the B-hyve device to your network by opening the B-hyve app, tapping My B-hyve, selecting Devices and then your device, and then choosing Update WiFi Settings.
Lastly, if you haven’t already, please reboot your router.
Should you continue to experience an issue with the B-hyve device disconnecting from your network, please reset the B-hyve device, reconnect to your network, and test.
For the Outdoor Controller, perform a factory reset by holding down the reset button (located on the back of the swing panel) for 10-12 seconds.
- For the Indoor Controller, press the B-hyve Button 5 times on the center of the device.
- For the B-hyve XR, press the B-hyve Button 5 times on the center of the device.
- For the Hose Tap Timer & Hub, press the B-hyve Button 5 times on both devices.
- For the Flood Sensor & Hub, press the B-hyve Button 5 times on both devices.
